Right place, right time: Putting yourself out there

In business it’s generally acknowledged that in order to bring in work you have to get out there, in the big wide world.

The out there can take many forms, such as networking events early doors with a coffee and croissant, attending trade shows and events, or catch ups over lunch with business associates.

I think we all recognise that in order to put your best foot forward you have to be in a particular mindset, positive that you can accept the work and undertake it as the customer so desires, including hitting project milestones and deadlines.

But it’s just not getting out there which is important. Yes, you have to physically put yourself in the right place at the right time, but you also have to make sure that your internal processes are also in a good place too.

Like many other business owners I’m out there a lot, but I’m also trying my best to make sure we’re ready for the work. If you want a design engineer that can help you make things happen then why not give me a call?
