‘22: Getting our Ducks in a Row

So another year has passed and a new one has begun. Sanstec Design, like many smaller sized businesses I’m sure, has been trying to use any of the so-called quiet time in the lead up to Christmas, to get everything in place and prepared for another busy year.

Throughout 2021, despite the trials and rigours of the pandemic, we have been fortunate to have had back to back mechanical engineering design projects, which has meant we have had very little actual down time ourselves. So when it does happen, we have to maximise the period to prepare for what’s to come, thus essentially 'getting our ducks all in a row', so to speak.

For the first part of next year our sales book, we're delighted and humbled to say, is already looking buoyant, with some interesting, engaging and technically challenging design projects to work on, generated from both existing and new relationships, which we are looking forward to nurturing and developing. We also have plans in place to relocate the Sanstec workshop to a slightly larger building, enabling us to have a facility for continuing and supporting all sorts of mechanical learning and understanding. One of the primary ways we go about finding out how things work etc. is through a passion for 'older vehicles' with classic Ford cars being a particular interest of mine. With a bit of extra space and a more developed building, we'll be able to carry out a greater volume of vehicle related 'design engineering tasks' in general.

A happy new year to all our colleagues, clients, suppliers, friends and social followers. The very best to you all for 2022 and particularly, for successfully getting your own ducks in a row.
