It all began ....
Sanstec Design was started over 25 years ago after Alastair, by nature a creative innovator and problem solver, had been working as a design engineer in various different manufacturing and engineering sector roles for a number of years. Originally apprentice trained at Marconi as a Mechanical and Production Engineer, Alastair recognized the need to apply his creative and engineering energy by specialising in the application and utilisation of CAD and CAE.
He identified strong synergies between creative problem solving within a technical environment and the need to efficiently and economically find and implement solutions through the creative development cycle that resolves challenges of design function, user interaction and commercial feasibility. To do this, would require the creation and continual development of a company; hence Sanstec Design was 'born'.
